Notre Dame Had Cars Lined Up at 7 a.m. To Get on Campus for a Snow CFP Game

Oh man, this is going to be awesome. Two in-state teams playing in the first ever game of the 12-team College Football Playoff in the snow and Notre Dame has people lined up for miles 12 hours before kickoff. The Irish fans are not known for usually having a top-level atmosphere, but this game looks like it should produce an outstanding one.

I loved Notre Dame from the time the games were announced, but this weather makes me like the Irish even more. Riley Leonard is going to hand the ball to Jeremiyah Love 35 times and let him run wild.

I still have more than a couple problems with the 12-team CFP and how it's being administered, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't fired up for the next 36 hours. We get our first taste tonight on a blanket of snow and then we have three games back-to-back-to-back tomorrow, culminating in an incredible matchup when Tennessee goes to Ohio State. We used to pray for times like this.

Merry Christmas, everyone. We deserve this weekend.
